I wanted to mention here that Louis "Louie" Guy Champeau past away July 1. His handle on this forum was "vetdrem". Louie was a snowbird that lived here in Zephyrhills, Fl 6 months each winter and Michigan 6 months each summer. He was great moral support to me as I was building my plane. He owned a model 3 and gave me flight instruction in it before my planes first flight. This gave me a lot of confidence and the practice I needed to make my planes first flight successfully. He was also there with handheld radio on the morning of first flight. Anytime i would text him about an issue, he would ask "do you want any help" or "do you want me to come over".
    Louie will be missed.

Ken, sincere condolences to you, to the entire Champeau family and all of Louie’s friends. My most cherished friends came into my life through a shared love of this little airplane. Glad that’s the case for you and Louie.
“Louie” Guy Champeau has 8,000 kindred spirits here and so do you Ken.
    Prayers for his eternal peace.
