    Default Nose gear tow bar

With the interruption of this COVID thing slowing progress flight wise, I decided to come up with a better tow bar than the various things I had been trying. I've only used it once, but it appears like it is going to make baking into the hangar much better. It's 6 foot long and made of steel, so it won't be flying anywhere.

Looks good Gary. Backing up a nose gear Kitfox is an exercise in finesse.
How do the wheels handle those door tracks?
    Happy 4th.

Thanks. I have to let the plane weight be on its nose wheel while the tow bar wheels cross over, but that is only a short distance perpendicular to the tracks, so it's not a problem.

Hi Gary, looks like a pretty good design. If I'd ever finish my kitfox maybe I'd know what is it like to push my plane into a hanger. Anyway, looks great and your plane does too!

Hi Gary, I'm still slowly plugging away at it. I'm trying to get everything pre-cover done this year so I can start the fabric next year. I'm still not sure what to go with but I like the ease of the Oratex. Not sure about the cost though, it seems a little high but may be worth it.

Good to hear from you, and take care!
