    Default Starfox Update

Finally after all these years and calling myself SomeDay7. I have Arrived home with my Kit. Kitfox workers were the best at what they do. Helped me load up my kit and going over some of the many questions I had about the build. Also spent a few hours at Stick and Rudder flying a bit. Pauls new STI is incredible and i got a good comparison flying it after flying the others he has.

Now just have to decompress from the long drive, get unloaded and start the inventory. Jim

Nice! Welcome to the club! Curious what planes are stick and rudder using now? What where the likes and dislikes you saw? What engines are they running?

Two Super Sports. One with a 912is and Constant speed prop. A 914 with fixed prop. Paul has a STI with 915, MT prop. Just about 50 some hours on that one. STI felt heavier, more stable less twitchy. Sounds like it would deal with turbulence better. Of course the landing gear fixed my mistakes.....

Unloaded my kit with my cobra buddy on Saturday. We proceeded to enjoy the afternoon with a cruise. Always a blast. Took a few pics.
Monday had a forum member over I had invited. We proceeded to inventory the complete kit in about 5 and a half hours. That including lunch and a few shots for good measure. Process was easy and everything was color coded and went back in the original boxes the came in. Used this method for the cobra build and parts were easy to find. Took apart my wing rack for the trailer last night and am getting ready to build a rotisserie for the wings and storage rack too.
