    Default Right wing covering

Finally getting after the right wing covering. Just need a 350 degree tightening, MEK bath and then on to rib lacing. Got to talk with John McBean about ordering a prop and some of the parts needed for the control of the constant speed prop and single lever controller. Hope to get that ordered soon. Sounds like it may take a few months to get in.

Harlan I see down in your header you are still undecided on engine and prop. Is there a secret message some where in your last reply?

Haha, waiting for a big reveal on the tube. Mine came in on the same shipment yours did and is a sister to yours. Suppose to be getting a fwf kit together to send with mine less the fiberglass parts that won't come till june. Airmaster prop.

And by the way I didn't know there was an anniversary engine til you showed yours.

Harlan, Did some looking on the single control prop. The MT prop with the hydraulic governor, electric head. You add this Automatic propeller speed control for Single Lever Power Control (SLPC), part SCU 9is and maybe the small panel to view faults that may come up and you have a one lever (throttle control) of the prop and throttle. Of course it is at a lot of extra cost. One time cost mostly as the governor has no limit on life expectancy. You could also add a dual solenoid electric head and have a reversible prop for float plane operations. That Anniversary engine has been listed on the Rotax site for some time. It just was not available til a short time ago. I wanted red for my plane. Guess I don't need to paint the valve covers now.

Or STOL drag. You know someone's going to do it eventually.
