I don't know what they changed on the prop for the 915is but I have never talked to anyone who did not like their airmaster electric prop. The 2k tbo kinda sold me.

I do know someone, Airfox, whose Airmaster electric motor went out at about 1000 hours. That's not bad, but its not all roses and lemonade out there.

Those DUC props look comparable to the Airmaster. I like watching that guys channel. Did talk with Kitfox today about the pros and cons of using their two favorite props. Each has their advantages on different engines. I know I could get a MT prop and use the manual control for it. It would be quite a bit less going this way but the 915 and a Stock prop controller is the way to go. Stock has worked several years with Rotax to develop this system. Probably should just figure it as part of the panel cost and not the propeller.

Why are you opposed to manual control of the prop?

Not opposed to it. Been done that way forever. It is just this system I am intrigued with that is available. No touch maximum torque. Ease of use all for a few thousand more. Ha

    Default Right wing

I can’t believe I even got this done the last couple of months have been so busy. Moved my mom into assisted living. Cleared out her house of 52 years of stuff. Sale should close on her house in a couple of weeks. Glad my wife is a trooper as she helped me haul almost everything away. Panel is also being built. Prop and controller is in delay mode as we are still not sure about shipping from Germany. Going to get this wing on the storage rack now and start on the fun part of the build.

Well if you have not done much it’s not hard to clean up. Thanks Harlan.

    Default Fuselage start

Filled gaps around welds last two days just have to touch the filling up with some paint included in the kit. Also getting ready to ride these horses next month as they will be two. Training method I use is outstanding and here I have laid him down.
