    Default Michigan Avionics introduction.

    Hello From Michigan Avionics!
First of all, we hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!
We wanted to reach out and say hello to all of our valued MGL customers and let you know how we got here, how things stand and what we are trying to bring to the mix.
As many of you are aware, there will be some changes to the operation of MGL Avionics USA. There was a press release last week stating that Michigan Avionics will be taking on Sales and Support for North America and there has been a little confusion about what this means to the customers of MGL Avionics so we would like to help clear things up a little.
First, a little background on us - Michigan Avionics. We have been dealing with Matt Liknaitzky for several years building panels and harnesses for the Sling lineup of aircraft as Midwest Panel Builders. Midwest Panel Builders is an Garmin Experimental dealership and we have been bringing sales and support to builders around the world.
In an effort to expand MGL Avionics in the North American market, and with the extreme growth of the Sling aircraft and Sling Pilot Academy, Matt recognized the need for extra support of the product and called on us to partner with him to move this plan forward and Michigan Avionics was born.
The structure of MGL Avionics USA is as follows - MGL Avionics USA is still owned and operated by Matt Liknaitzky and Rainbow Aircraft INC, and they will be handling the importing of all MGL avionics products for Michigan Avionics as well as handling warranty and repairs. MGL Avionics USA will also be involved in the ticket support system to help handle support issues.
Michigan Avionics will be handling all sales and front line support. We will be the first point of contact for support and escalate to MGL Avionics USA and the Factory as needed. All Warranty and repair work will start as a ticket through our ticket system and then be escalated to MGL Avionics USA.
We believe this new partnership will be very beneficial for our customers and will help streamline the ordering and support processes and we are very much looking forward to helping all of you now and in the future. We know there may be a few bumps during this transition and we apologize in advance. Look for us at the future shows working alongside Matt and MGL Avionics!
One last note:As well all know, the Corona Virus has caused many delays in the shipment of products. This causes not only a problem in getting the products from MGL but even MGL is facing issues getting components to build products. While this is causing the delay of some of the products, MGL is up to capacity and working very hard to fulfill the backorders that are currently outstanding. The understanding of those waiting has been incredible and we thank you!
Our website is open for ordering and we will fill orders as we receive the products, some items are abut 4-6 weeks out and we expect to be running full steam within 12 weeks. Be sure to visit the Michigan Avionics Website.
    Thank You For Your Time
    Your Michigan Avionics Team!

I’m confused. You’re showing a photo of Steve and Adam O’Conner of Midwest Panels and referencing Sling, yet no mention of them on your website or this post. Phone numbers don’t match. Please explain.

My bad. I was in the wrong areas of the interwebs. Thanks for your support. (Still in the learning stages.)
