Sorry I don't have any pictures.
I hoped my explanation was simple enough. Just cut the "Y" notch as you normally would do. Glue the fabric over the whole glare shield, completely covering over the notch. Then just cut a single slit in the fabric down the center of the notch including each Y branch. Slip the glare shield into place and then poke the fabric edges around the "Y" notch down around the X tubing with your fingers.

Maybe the next time I have the glare shield off I can take some photos. Photos would not be very good with the shield in place.

    Default Turtle deck

We got the turtle deck installed with hinge. The hinge is quite a task I will say..
Flaperons are on for good I hope also. I am happy with the paint match.
Trying to get to the weight and balance point so I can weigh it and get the paper work sent in!

Also got the cowls finish fitted.

Much better than the glare shield. Still fighting with that. It just doesn’t fit.

The glare shield is a pain in the butt. Mine needs to be redone however its frozen and wont fly until spring. Subzero temps for weeks takes the fun right out of flying. haha
