I was just wondering a couple days ago if you got the smart glide working. Haha
My oil ran 190 ish in the summer. I now have the radiator half blocked and am getting 180 ish in the cold weather 20/45 temp range so I may block a little more off.
Water temp is on a thermostat so it's always 180 to 190. Harlan

    Default Oil sample

    More 100 hour engine info.
We got the oil sample paper back and everything is looking good. attached
We cut open the filter and couldn't find anything.
The pic is how we lubricated the waste gate with copper anti seize.
The tip fits the hole and the pressure squeezes the anti seize around the shaft. Took a while for me to figure out how to lube that shaft, just thought I'd share what I used.

Harlan - looks like your plane is now the center of the universe.

More on "The Glory", sometimes called the pilot's halo:
As you descend towards to cloud tops, often that halo becomes brighter and more intense, and when your plane merges with the shadow there is an brilliant burst of light. Airline pilots refer to it as "flying into the Glory". Next time you see one of those Harlan, try flying into it and let us know what happens!

"There is a Power whose care
Teaches thy way along that pathless coast-
    The desert and illimitable air-
    Lone wandering but not lost".

    .................................................. ..............

"He who, from zone to zone,
Guides through the boundless sky thy certain flight,
In the long way that I must tread alone,
    Will lead my steps aright".

Yes sir. The fuse is about ready to be called complete. The engine is "supposed" to be delivered next month as is the next sub-kit (wings).
