Words that IT people live by!!! Thanks for the update Harlan. Certain someone is going to have the same issue (probably me) and be thankful for the solution.

    Default A change of pace...

Everything seems to be working on the electric side now so I felt like a change of pace.

Looking great! A part of me wishes I would have went with these struts vs the streamlined chromoly option. I guess I was feeling a little tired of body work and paint whenever I made that quick decision. You sure are getting close Harlan. It’s been fun watching your progress.

Thanks Ben but a part of me is wishing I'd went with the streamlined chromoly option. Haha. I don't know why they are so high priced but the chromoly ones are really nice.

First pic Fitting cowls on the plane wasn't to bad.
2nd pic, that front end looks like a near total rebuild.

Harlan, that's going to take a lot of polishing!

You can see what is suppose to be where you cut it...the raised portion is suppose to mark the section you cut off. Basically sand it down until it mates correctly.

Be aware that the cut line is not straight across the whole front of the cowl. It jogs up as you go outer to inner, and then back down again. Wish I had a photo to show it.

    Thanks Dustin and Jim.
If I went with the cut line it was going to deform the rest more I thought so having to rebuild the front anyway I opted for slightly larger air holes in the front. More air for a 915 I thought would me better??
