Thanks John Evans, it was very nice to get to talk with you at Osh.

John B, this was on the Wabash River just north of where it runs into the Ohio river.

    Steve, thanks for the flip!

    Harlan,

Did you do any pull tests on the Oratex adhesive? If so I’m curious how much weight it took for it to start pulling off the structure and if it matches my test - 11lbs 6oz - https://photos.app.goo.gl/KAUCZQtaxseNhQcG7

    Thanks!

Dan, I used the test specified weight, and I left it for about 6 months. It was still on there when I emptied out the junk after the build and threw it away.
Yours was an impressive test. Harlan

11+ is pretty amazing. I got in the 7-8 lb range and was quite happy

    Default 100 hour rotax inspection

I finished my 100 hour rotax engine checks.
    Compressions were all 80/79+.
Fuel screen was clean. It wasn't at 25 hours.
Gearbox plug had very little metal.
Spark plugs all looked the same.
Changed oil but haven't cut filter yet.
Found my water leak I had been looking for. Just had to tighten a clamp.
    Corrected one hose rub.
    Nothing in the turbo screen.
I have an oil seep between the head and jug on #4, just enough to be nasty and collect dust. Not a big deal but not happy about it.
Safety wire is very sharp when cut as you can see in the last pic.

I also added an oil heater for the oil can that's not pictured for these cold days. Now I need a timer to turn it on and off when needed if anyone knows of a good one.
