Great job Harlan, Susan and crew. You’re at the build finish line and Phase one starting gate.

Haha. We don't have horses or a ranch, we just grain farm. We have been 5 to 6 hours a day since harvest ended on nov 4th and it seems everything has been coming together the way it should. I hope!

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Harlan, went back to your first post that was on 4/11/2020 so thats just over a year and a half for your build, not too shabby in my book . Exciting times ahead , you will enjoy that Kitfox. After 18 years of flying my Series 5 , I still can't wait for my next flight. Have fun . Bruce N199CL

Wait till you fly the plane you and the wife built together for the first time. You might start thinking about a second build.

Harlan - first, congrats on a job well done. Second, the first step to healing is expression of the problem. Something like: "I have a problem, I'm a builder. It consumes me night and day. My next project starts . . . . ."

They are on and I am glad to check another item off the list.
    Hi Harlan,
You show the stainless steel door trim here and in your video. I can't find that in the catalog and when I called Kitfox, the girl (sounded young) I talked to didn't know what I was talking about. Where did you get them? If it's a Kitfox part, what's the part number, please?

    Thanks...

Well I had seen them on a kitfox at a show and I called later to kitfox and asked Debra about the stainless door trim caps and she sold me some. So I don't have a number of any kind. Just ask Debra for the stainless trim Harlan got I guess?

Here is the part number, 99017.000 Door Channel Stainless Steel, you will need two if you are only doing the bottom sill of the door and two more if you are doing the rear frame.
