Default Rotax 912is ram air intake

I thought I remember hearing the current offering for the firewall forward kit for the 912is has provisions for a ram air intake. Anybody have any pictures of an install? Just curious what would be involved.

    Rocket man,
I don’t remember anything that was offered by the factory for a ram air intake. I am at the stage in my build that the cowl needs to be fitted and I am considering making a cold air intake. Probably add a NACA duct on the lower cowl right side and make a filter housing attached inside the cowl. Then a tube up to the throttle valve. Not so much a ram air but a cold air intake. I’ve been looking on line for an aftermarket filter housing with no luck so I’ll probably make one out of fiberglass. Let me know if you find any information.

    Good luck.
