    Default GPS mounting

I have a TRIG gps and was thinking of mounting it on top of windshield.

I would have to drill holes to mount and for antena cable.

any thought. It is GPS reciever.

When you say GPS are you referring to the GPS receiver, GPS antenna or the GPS unit?
If you are referring to the antenna you can make a tray underneath the dash and installed it 100% concealed and not have to drill any holes in the dash or windshield as you are suggesting.

    As Dave described:

Aluminum tray bonded to instrument panel support tubes under glare shield for gps antennas.
Works great as long as glare shield is NOT made of carbon fiber or aluminum.
Both the white and little black antennas in the far right hand tray are for gps’.

I saw DF4's installation and copied it. Works fine there.
