I have a (pre-built) Vixen, which I have been enjoying immensely. I also had thoughts of converting to TW, mostly for use on snow skiis. Once I learned how one would need to accomplish this, I don’t think about it anymore. Apparently the Vixen was built with tricycle gear only in mind. In order to convert, there would need to be some structural beef-up in the gearbox area for one. If I really wanted a TW KF, I would look for a good one already done the way I want and be ready to commit to it with a deposit, an inspection and a way to buy it. Some of us are not builders, however I believe you can buy a good flying Kitfox for the price of a kit & parts only.
