Would be interesting to see what it does to your insurance.
MUCH better
Here is a side by side of the original rubber and the 21" Desser tires I installed today.
For the guys who run these, what is the normal tire pressure you guys use. My flying is 50/50 pavement and dirt strips.

I have the 22" ones, and carry 15 psi in them. I know you can do less, but that seems pretty good to me and they seem to be wearing very well - majority of time has been on pavement. I didn't want to have to worry about the tires slipping on the rims and possibly damaging a tube/valve stem.

I have been running the 21" for 6 years at 15 psi for the reasons that John states. Am soon to be switching to the 22" and will probably stay with 15 psi.

Like Phil, I run 12-15 psi. Ive landed off pavement only once in 130hrs. I started at 12 but found that the pressure drops over time so starting at 15 I can run a bit until I see 12 then I add air. The time I noticed that my pressure doesn't hold, I found 9-10 psi before I corrected it. Fortunately I didn't find any slippage at that time.
