this is my model 4 with the 27.5 and the T3 8inch matco in the back. I think it's a perfect combo. I've had this set up for over 2 years and I fly out of Felts field with hard runway and a grass runway. I always take off hard runway but land grass, many times the grass isn't available so I have to land hard. the tires just lost their center line (from being made) they are wearing very well, I fly a bunch. I love my big tires, and it looks much better with the big tires. oh and landing off field is super fantastic
Can you take off and land on asphalt with the smooth tires
    Thanks

Certainly. My 22" tundra tires have only seen dirt once in 187hrs. Im less than 1/2 wear by now.

yes and they wear good. only one thing, when landing those big tires take a bit to get turning. so they will grab a bit when you touch down, be ready for it is all. I generally always try to land on the sod, no change, on asphalt will squeak and grab until the tires are turning. I land as slow as I can, it helps.
