IV 912 Radiator Hose

The 41908.000 and 41909.000 aluminum coolant lines that are supposed to go between the engine and radiator on the 912 install no longer come with the kit. A letter that comes with the install manual says items no longer in the kit "you can source easily for yourself". What have others used? Did you simply run 1" heater hose all the way?

I was wondering where the radiator is normally installed, I have seen one picture where someone installed it in the back of the Fuselage, with computer fans.
