Default Dust Storm on the Playa

Things happen quickly on the playa. I took this at Burning Man in 2017. I out ran a similar storm a couple of years earlier on a flight back from some hot springs. It was a wall of white from the air. I landed and was tied down before it hit. This time I was working on ramp as a volunteer.

Man, that's one of the things I'd like to absolutely avoid with my Kitfox. Fly-ins like the High Sierra give me somewhat similar thoughts... dust, dirt & sand in every little crevice, filter, bearing, etc. Great fun, but it has to be terrible for the airplane. I wonder how those airplanes that were just arriving and taxiing made out?
