    Default Long Reach Tinnerman nuts

Some (most) of the holes on my tail access cover are a bit too far from the edge to get the factory ones on. For sure my mistake and should have looked at them before drilling. So now Ive been trying to find some longer reach #4 tinnerman plates or other solution. I got some of the flat type nut plates and was thinking I could hysol/glue them to the side but Im not convinced the fabric that is wrapped around the angle will hold. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

yea that is my back up option. I was hoping not to enlarge or drill more holes. Was thinking maybe someone else did this and found a source for longer reach clips

Yes, I did this also. Aircraft Spruce has lots of the tinnerman stuff. Problem is trying to understand what one you need exactly. When you can't figure that out you do what I did. I bought numerous sizes and one of them works. Wish I had better data for you. But AS&S is a source.

I thought I combed spruce pretty well. Nothing that reaches far enough that Ive found so far.

On a few of mine I notched the aluminum angle so the standard tinnerman nuts would slide on far enough.
