    Default Any thought on installing an LS1 auto conversion on Kitfox

    So.. I’m thinking about trying to do a LS1 Auto conversion on a kitfox. What are your thoughts??

    I see no way a 400+ pound auto V8 will work in a Light Sport aircraft.

    I have to agree they are just too heavy. 350hp is too much for a kitfox. I did a swap in a fiero back in 2000. Still have it . Allot of but almost too much power in that too. Breaks the tires loose in second without much effort.

    Comparing it to the IO-540.

    No problem. Just add a few hundred pounds of lead to the tail!
