FYI, I made my own door trim cap strips from 0.016" ALUMINUM. It bent very easily in a sheet metal bending brake. Has been on the plane now for 1000+ hours, 8.5 years with no sign of wear or corrosion. In my opinion it is a great alternative to SS.

Ah! Good to know. Thanks!
I know one guy is this pic sure is HAPPY!
Congrats! Harlan
Must be the DAR that is happy because he has a fat stack of cash in his pocket!
Congrats Harlan! Well deserved smile there.
Alax would you say 239 is over charging? He drove 2 hours and charged me milage +95 dollars and said he would take donations for his eaa chapter. I did make a donation!
I didn't know his price till he got here because the next DAR is 3.5 hours away so I was guessing high either way, but I was very happy when he told me the price. He's 80 and just enjoys doing them but this is one of the last ones he said.
Epic day for you Harlan and family. Especially your parts finder!! Bet she's ready to fly rather than find 90015 in the Brake Kit Box. Nice work!!! Congrats.
