Really great video Doug!
Did you need reservations at the Dinner Tree?
That was really beautiful, Doug... loved the music too!
These are the kinds of movies that motivate the build!
Doug,
That's some beautifully flying!!!
Thanks! My first attempt at GoPro editing. Steep learning curve for the 'old head'. Airfox Scott was with us, too. The 'dry' lake is at around 4,800' which is just north of 'Tall Town' Lakeview, OR. Ross, I'll get you a picture of the (Cub-crafter) tripod mount when I hug my plane again. Yes, Jim we had reservations at the Cowboy Dinner Tree. What a FEAST!
Ross, Here is the GoPro mount I'm using. The aluminum bracket is 'home made'. I'm using it until I get the GoPro bracket I ordered on Ebay.
Here is some photos of my latest Kitfox iv 1200
A few of us headed down south of the South Island. JFA was on a shake down flight and went well. 11 1/2 hours flying time.
The photos are the Poolburn Reservoir (3000 feet ASL)
The next one is at the home of the Croyden Aircraft Company. Well known for restoring de Havilland, including a comet racer.
A random farmers paddock for coffee
the last one is looking along the Otago Peninsula and Port Chalmers
We had 3 days of perfect flying weather. We are coming into winter and looking forward to some more settled weather
