I understand the engine will be available in January sometime. I'm wondering what you need to hold the engine and to crate it for shipping. I want to check with Rotax to see about the warranty transferring before I commit final. I have an inquiry in to Rotax. The engine will need to be shipped to Alaska.

Hi. I am selling mine 951is to replace it with a 916. Why?? Haha. I just wanted one. 915s are great engines and you will be happy with one. I haven't had any problems with mine. I hope the horizontal was a one off problem because no one else has had that problem. I check mine every flight. Mine broke a little at a time by looking at the light rust some had so if it was to happen you will catch it if you are looking. You will like the plane for sure. Harlan

Hi, MikeFairbanks is a good friend of mine and we are each building Kitfoxes. He is a fair amount ahead of me because I did not have a shop last winter. I'm planning on a Rotax 915is. He decided to upgrade to the 916. I have not ordered my engine yet. The only major components I need are the engine, prop and upholstery. I have the firewall forward kit for the 915. I see on barnstormers that you are selling your engine. I assume you are upgrading the engine? I have not followed your posts about that if that's the case. I assume no issues with the engine just upgrading? Any information you can provide would be most helpful.

I have been watching your posts about the horizontal stab issue you had. Mike said he flew with you before that happened. Mike and I fly C150s together here in Fairbanks, Alaska.
