  1. I haven`t been on line much lately. Missed your note. Anyway my open trailer sold and converted to a motorcycle hauler.
My covered wagon isn`t licensed/insured and just parked. Usually use it for winter storage. Good luck with your trip.
    Cheers

maybe my first message didn't get through, now that I see the one from 6 minutes ago posted below .. I'm in Vernon, leaving for Arizona in the next few days to pick up my new-to-me Kitfox 3 .. a friend has a 27 ft flat deck that was made for kitfox, but it's looking rather sad .. did your flat deck trailer sell? Hello Don, I sent that note about needing a trailer, then I looked further at your posts and no, I wouldn't expect to loan a wonderful custom enclosed unit like you built - the previous open deck, that might have been a request worth considering .. regards

    Hi Don
I am flying out to Chiliwack tomorrow morning, July29. We hope to stop in Nelson and then on to Chilliwack. A friend is taking his 601 there to a new owner. There is an experienced mountain flyer leading the way and giving us mountain flying lessons on the go. So three planes there and 2 on the way back. I am tagging along in the kit fox to get my mountain fear out of the way. If things go well I will call before dropping in. As I am the tag along I don't have much say but will see how it goes. Hope all is well.

    Hi Don

That is great news. Thanks for the update. I took my tail wheel time in a taylor craft before I got into my Kitfox. It was 2 hours well spent and had no trouble transitioning to the kitfox except that I had 2 or 3 times the performance. If you want I could take you up in mine and let you feel it out. I am not an instructor so we would have to use extreme caution but with good communication we could get it done.
I just put a new 912s in and have only 13 hours on it so far. The added performance is just amazing. Did a measured take off of 120 feet a few days ago
So give me a call when you get back and we can look at possibilities.
you could also talk to Bob Robertson at Bullyhawk. He is in Salmon Arm. He put my engine in and there was a Kitfox there as well that may be able to help you out
