Hi Larry,
I see you commented on my vne post. Are you using the 140 vne on your plane? Im guessing you are but just checking. With the Grove gear installed I'm cruising much faster.

Larry, I spent some time looking at testimonials about the modified and enlarged balance tube on Rotax 912 engines. I see you did your own modification and am wondering if you are happy with it and would you do it again?

I was going to use loctite 242 on my 912 water inlet elbows and then saw in the heavy paint. manual chapter 75 pg 16 that it calls for loctite 480. ... I think. Am I wrong? I am repositioning them to accommodate the spider move to install in my model IV. Have you done any water system stuff that uses loctite 480? What do you think?

Larry, I see that you are a contributor on avidfoxflyer forum. I have been trying to join the group, but haven't received the email allowing me to contribute. Anything that you can do to get me in? Believe me, Larry, when I say that from everything I've seen, your Mangy Fox is a beautiful work of art, both engineering and otherwise. My airplane will be rather plain to look at I'm afraid. It's fun to share the details when you diverge a little from the "norm"... you know what I'm talking about. Thank you again.

Hi, I've seen your post regarding the upgrade to the groove gear on you Model IV. Did you have to relocate the radiator under the aircraft due to the different mounting of the gear? If so, could you tell me how and where you located it, and maybe a few pictures?

Have the sockets mounted and plan on starting and balance tomorrow.
