Scott, I'm the guy chatted with you briefly in Lebanon yesterday. I have a few questions for you once I get them organized. Hope that won't be too much of a bother.

  4. It is to adjust the horizontal stabilizer(Trim Adjust). It's in the manual but not sure what page. Might be in the rigging section? I use it every landing. Good luck.

  6. Hello Eric, Sorry we couldn't make last week happen. I'm out of town until the 9th. I'll try and squeeze something in after the 9th. I didn't forget about you. The Kitfox Bug is a good thing!!!

I used easypoxy from Jamestown supplier, used foam roller to apply and foam brush to tip. Just had to use thinner to allow it to self level. By no means is it a spray finish but I have used less than a gallon( this is a total for all colors). I pull three coats in three days, wet sanded with 320 between coats

    Hello Scott,
After the Poly-Spray I sprayed two coats of white and two coats of yellow. (Poly-Tone) It looks like, when I'm done, I'll use four gallons of each. You may want to start with two gallons and order more when you're close to running out. At that point you'll be able to make a more accurate estimate. With yellow and red it's necessary to paint it over white. This may not be necessary with other colors.

    All the very best,
    Tom

Hi Scott, Thanks! I did get the Super Sport and starting to feel a little less over whelmed by the whole project. At first I was wondering what I got myself into but I think I'm starting to get into the flow a bit and I'm enjoying the build process. Greg

    Hello,
Please excuse my late reply. I'm using the Axis HVLP system available from Aircraft Spruce.

    http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalo...xissprayer.php

When I purchased it I knew very little about spray systems, so, I was attracted to a product that had been set up for spraying fabric. I know a little more now and have to say that I'm still happy with my purchase. HVLP is terrific. MUCH less overspray than HP systems. What does accumulate is a dry dust (either white or yellow in my case) that is easy to brush or sweep away.

    All the very best,
    Tom
