Hi Rob, Sorry I missed your message. The two middle curved out tubes of the door frame and the acrylic bubble door do not touch each other due to the bubble radius is greater than the frame. I used 6-32 s.s. screws and acorn nuts to the cabin side to attach. I love these doors but they do add a little weight. If you need a better picture let me know. Nice to hear from you, Dan
