Another dream come true for the Kitfox 4 airplane I built in 1993.
After 10 hours of dual instruction (required by insurance). Trey confidently flys on a windy day.
So much fun to watch. Special thanks to his instructor John Hiltabidle, retired USN carrier pilot.
Lucky to fly with one of America's heroes!!
Cheers,
Kirby Cramer

Congrats Trey! Nice job on a gusty day. Looks like you had a good instructor in John. Enjoy every flight.

NICE JOB! I bet I was watching you do some landings at French Valley a couple weeks ago while I was in Phase One. I was going to ask if it was a Red Kitfox but then I watched the video. Ive only seen two Kitfox's down there and Im the only one who seems to take a break. But I am certain that was the plane. Not certain who was in it of course. Congratulations!

So my 17 year old and I flew down to check out Fallbrook airport last night. Interesting little runway I must say. My son experienced his first temperature inversion there. Had the doors open at 3500 ft and dropped down for a straight in final approach from the north and the temp changed at about 2000 ft by about 15-20 degrees as we entered the marine layer. Neat little airport.

Wow, the engine sure sounds nice. What kind of cruise speed do you get out of her?
What did the empty weight come in at?
