Hey all,
Looking to purchase a piece of property that is on a very small body of water he in New England, USA. The pond is a small dammed river which has about 2600' in length, then another ~300' with low swampland before 30 or 40' trees. No big hills after or anything. The altitude of the pond is 500' MSL.
I grew up on the water but have no float experience yet so I wanted to ask the experts on here if that would be enough for a Kitfox with a 100HP Rotax? Because I may be able to get a smoking deal on this property, but if I can't fly out of it then I am all set. It does get hot here in the summer and I do want to be able to take off when it is hot and preferably fully loaded.
Am I crazy or is it workable? What do you guys think?
