Does anyone have a method to utilize the “gun” to apply hysol with flox mixed into the paste?

Haven't tried it with flox added, but a lot of us use a large plastic syringe filled with mixed hysol for nice fillet joints. The large syringes are available from woodworking stores, maybe Kitfox, and are cleanable if you get some acetone in quick enough before the hysol starts to set. I would imagine you could mix up a batch in a small solo cup, add your flox, and fill the syringe. It might flow out of the syringe if you cut the hole big enough.

IMO the mixing gun is hard to use, ive used them in the autobody feild to replace panels on new cars, ( yes ud b surprised how many r glued together now) So i just used the cheap old stand by, ziplock sandwich bags

You can reuse them lots of times. You just squeeze out all the hysol, clean the rubber off, then when the hysol is dry it will pop out of the nozzle. You can use them over many times. Makes a nice clean joint and you can mix flox or microballons in.

I got my syringes at the local Murdoch's Farm and Ranch store. I guess they are used for injecting livestock.
