I just used an old GoPro Hero 2 in my plane yesterday for the first time. What is the easiest free video editing program to use? I've tried GoPro Studio, and I'm not having much luck with that. Any help would be appreciated.

If you use Apple try their iMovie.

Try a Google search for "video editing in windows 10"

I just did a search and there are several options that will pop up.

Well, I just uploaded my first Kitfox video onto YouTube. I have to be doing something wrong, it took over 5 hours for a 7 minute 30 second video to load. That is absolutely nuts. I was using the wifi in my house, which is from our Century Link router. There has to be a faster way.

Depending on your upload speed that may not be far off the mark. Can you give a link to your video? What resolution did you do the video, 4k?

I for one would be interested in seeing the video. Got a link to it? JImChuk

This is only the last 7 1/2 minutes of the flight.

It's an old GoPro Hero 2, so the resolution is only 1080p.

Thanks Jim. It's not a very exciting video, but I guess in flying, that's a good thing.

Im guessing you had a meal there at the cafe. I like that place. Of course if the weather is good you can just watch airplanes from there all day.

You're absolutely right about the cafe, but no. KMAN is my home airport.

Go to Speedtest.com and run a test to see what your upload speed is. This may be as good as it gets from your ISP...

That's what I did, and you're right. After talking to my son, I found out my "high speed" internet is pretty slow by today's standards, but that's the best I can get in my area.

Liked the video. My type of flying. Speed? We once had HughesNet. Would you believe 2+ days for a 15 minute video upload. Gave that up and went to old fashioned cable service. Couple of hours now if that.

I know your pain, Bartman.

I lived with HughesNet for the last 10 years and it was miserable slow. Better than dial up, but not by much. We just recently got DSL (finally) after the phone company had been promising for that whole time. A little faster, but a hell of a lot cheaper!

Thanks, I appreciate that. We have Century Link, but I guess we have the slowest version in our area. The upload speed is only 2. something. I don't know how those guys upload hour long videos, unless they start the upload and go to bed.

Had to laugh. I actually had to go to bed two times on one upload. Off topic, but I recently read a post by a florist complaining about the internet providers with their "Up to ?? speeds" in their contracts and wondering if he could get away selling Rose's in "Up to a dozen" quantities at a set price.

I actually got up and hour after going to bed to make sure it had completed the upload. Also want to make sure when my computer "went to sleep," it didn't stop the upload. I think the florist had a good idea.
