Will a kitfox 5 landing gear fit a kitfox 2? Taildragger main gear.

Isn't the Kitfox 5 fuselage wider than the earlier models? That may present more of a problem then the distance between the mounts or the height. JImChuk

yes it is a wider fuse from the Series 5 on up. Bruce N199CL

Dimensionally the FK5 gear is bigger and heavier. Designed for more weight of the KF5, wider and taller stance, etc.
Look at the Grove website, their depictions of the two gear show the differences.
