After 12 successful years of flying my Model 1 Kitfox with a Rotax 532 and 3 blade ground adj. prop, I recently converted to a Jabiru 80 hp. I have been able to fly with a Culver 60x36 that came with the engine and a borrowed Culver 60x34. The 36 pitch only allowed 2900 rpm and the 34 allowed 3300 rpm. The take off and climb of the 60x36 is poor at best and the 60x34 is excellent.
I have been very pleased with the Jabiru but wish for an inflight adj. prop option for better cruise and less fuel burn.
IVO did not reccommend their prop on the Jabiru.
Any suggestions Herman Oregon 541 404 6464

Herman, one of our members (Lynn Matteson) has the Jabaru 2200 and uses a Sensenich 62"x46" wood prop and seems to have good all around performance but I'm not sure it's adjustable.

there has been some testing w/the Ivo props and the performance was better than the wood but the problem is cooling.
