Koger Sunshade

The rail is attached to the inside of the canopy by double sided tape.

So far, no problems. Super easy to slide forward, backward, or position where you want it and does a great job of blocking out the sun.

It's 30" wide and about 26" long.

That's a good idea.
I like how it stays up tight to the ceiling. Since I am short but have a 3" thick seat cushion my head is up pretty high and notice that if I wear my headset it may be contacting mine.
If there are other folks interested I think I would be in on a group purchase.

Four of us are in and John may not have seen our reply. Wouldn't hurt to inquire but if we give it a few more days for others to see our plan we may have more to bargain with on the initial contact. Then again, if you know they will give a pretty decent discount others may be enticed as well.

I just ordered mine before this group idea came up. I called Kroger and talked to the owner I believe, for the Kitfox SS7 it is a custom shade 34"x 25" and is rectangular in shape. They have a standard, non-custom, 34"x 25" but the front is tapered in some to better fit the RV style bubble canopies. The custom one for Kitfox is $250 (without discount). If you want the stock tapered one it is $229 I believe.

Hey Jim, Did you ask about one contoured for the KF glass? I see images in their gallery for custom options for the Super Stol and the RANS S-6 that fit the glass nicely across the top. I'm not quite sure how they would measure the contour without access to an aircraft.

I talked to Jeff at Koger. If we order at least 3, we can get them for $200 plus $12 shipping, just as Jim described them. They will be rectangular, no contour.
