What radio are you guys using on your Model 4's? The one I have is a very old (probably 1994) one that my grandfather put in. It has the LCD broken currently and I can' really tell what the numbers are.

Think about getting a new one... Possibly just getting a hand held?

I like my iCom A210.

I know several people running the Garmin GTR as well. Very similar features and price.

Installed in our S7, not in a model IV but I don't think that matters.

Bought a new Icom IC A200 when building and it has always worked perfectly. Has the 0.025 tuning increments and flip-flop. Reasonable price at the time.

MGL’s line up has good reviews. I installed a V6 in my new model 7SS.
Their new V16 looks very good. Also fits in a 2 1/4” instrument hole. Built in intercoms save install time. Click on their sponsor addvert on the left side of any page you visit here on TeamKitfox.com.

I have the V16 as I have some hearing impairment and it's attractive feature to me was the button that when pushed triggers a repeat of the most recent transmission. I still have the V6 that I removed from my panel to make room for the V16. If f you might be interested in the V6 send me a private message, I 'll make a deal.
