Indiana back country pilots

I noticed a red Kitfox at Oshkosh this year that had an Indiana Backcountry Pilots decal on the tail. I did a search of the www and came up with nothing. Anyone have any info on this group?

There is a “Michiana Back Country Aviators” Facebook group for those pilots in the Michigan-Indiana area....

Not exactly what you were inquiring about.... but still relevant.

That was my kitfox at OSH. There are several of us from southeastern Indiana that fly together and one of the guys made the decals. We have a lot of fun finding gravel bars, fields, grass strips in the area.

I see you are from Carmel, I am not far south of you in Batesville. If you can make it out Sunday(5th) we are having a breakfast flyin at 73ii, usually 3-4 kitfox’s showup.

We have several planes that come down from Indy area every month, hopefully you can join soon.

How close are you to flying?
