Vinyl stripe

Vinyl stripe for the Kitfox. The fabric may move at different amounts than any vinyl striping on it, as well as the curve of fabric on wing between ribs. Is there a vinyl to be used for this or should any striping be done with paint?

My first Model IV went to the airport with a critical vinyl stripe still in the paint can - a stripe about 5" wide behind the door tapering to about an inch at the elevator. Since no painting allowed at the airport, I had a vinyl stripe company make up the stripes I needed and they lasted 9 years with no issues whatsoever. My current IV has eight inch vinyl pinstripes between the white and yellow painted panels and I have had some minor issues mostly at bends where the radius was less than about a quarter inch.
