Almost at the starting line. I was wondering what people use for measuring length (wing rigging). Metal tape measure? If so, Home Depot 25’ tape OK?

And does anyone have pictures of their method for wing rigging? Adjustable sawhorses..... to hold the wing in place while adjusting lift struts...

Look at Tom Waid's website, tropicaltuba.com.

I had a number of metal tapes. I'm pretty sure a 25 ft tape will do.

Now that I'm flying I can say that my rigging turned out to be accurate.

Tom, Are you going to post any flying results on your website, or is the website finished?

I used a 25' metal Stanley tape measure. I used a 2 ton underhoist safety stand from Harbor freight. I worked beautifully as it has a screw height adjustment.

I'm taking a break from the website for now. I thank you and everybody for their encouragement.

My Kitfox is flying well with just a few little problems. One problem has been the weather. Florida has recently had a few weeks of bad weather giving me few chances to fly.
