New Ontario guy... Bought used 4 1200

Hi all.. My name is Mike and i live in Parry Sound ON... been snooping for a long time here :) just bought a 1999 Kitfox 4 1200 that’s the good news. Bad news it has a NSI subaru on it.. couldn’t resist the price though. I don’t have a pilot permit yet starting this summer. So thought I’d just say HI to everyone.

You'll love that Kitfox once you get your license and then get comfortable flying it. They are just such fun airplanes.

Oh, and about that NSI Subaru... While the Sube powered Kitfoxes tend to be heavier than the 912 models, I have seen a few Sube powered Foxes over the years that were pretty darn nice airplanes. In fact, one Subaru powered Model 5 I remember was making major HP (140?) and it was a little rocketship. So if that Sube engine has been flying on that airplane successfully before you bought it, and you've verified the engine and install is all good, just go out and enjoy the airplane.
