micro-air kit for 2 place

I am looking at electronics. I used MicroAir in my first KF5 and was looking around at different products and found this:

It's been 15 years since I built the first one and I don't know what the history of the reliability and usefulness of the unit has been since I sold it in 2004. Does anyone have any experience with MicroAir products?

I had Microair transceiver and transponder for 13 years. Radio was OK. Transponder was replaced soon after original install. It died. Had to send it to Austrailia for replacement. Took a long while but the second one worked pretty good. MGL has great radios so I’m going that way.
