Starting to gather up some of the things I will need to work on the kit and have a couple questions. I ordered the tool kit, and quick build wing.

What type varnish and primer are people using? A pint of each?

Drill bits: How many of each size? What are the most needed sizes?

Thanks,

Steve

I recommend the Poly Fiber epoxy primer and varnish. The kit comes with varnish, but you will need more. I think a quart kit plus the quart that comes with the kit will get me there. You'll need a heck of a lot more than a pint of primer. At least a gallon to get you started.

#30 and #40 drill bits are most common. Spruce has them pretty cheap. Get cobalt. Most drilling is in Aluminum, but when you go the steel, you'll be glad you have Cobalt. maybe 10 each. A unibit is also helpful

Here (http://a.co/bFMe70t) is my shopping list.

I saw your wish list and went shopping earlier today. Thanks for the info.

I think one quart of primer is enough. My kit came with one pint. Same for varnish. I brushed mine on, so there was no overspray waste.
