I have been considering a KitFox 7 for a bit. I have read quite a bit about them, but have never seen one in person or ridden in one. Wondering if anyone in the vicinity of Texas would be willing to help me out.

TIA

I’m still building, but I have a friend with a factory built SS7. He’s a flight instructor, and can give transition training in his beautiful red tail dragger. http://www.halt-av.com/ We are in North Texas. KGYI. Near Sherman. It’s several hours from you. If you don’t hear from anyone in your area, maybe you can give him a call.

Try John. He's got a beautiful Kitfox SLSA.

When I get mine out of its annual I will take you up. Based out of Spicewood w of Austin, but easy to get elsewhere. But can attest to John’s factory bird as well. His is a tail wheel, so you may want to look at both configs.

That would be great. Starting the Annual on my Bonanza this upcoming weekend, but other than that, I should be free.

The goal is to pick it up Saturday. Then I need to check it out well before I take anyone up.

Possible the weekend after? There is a fish fry at Lakeway that Saturday.

Sounds good, if weather and schedule works out, maybe I will fly my Avid down. I will touch base when it is closer.

Thanks.

All set and out of Annual. No issues to speak of. Just let me know when you want to try and meet up.

Good to hear. Thought we were meeting at Lakeway this Saturday, but we can make alternative arrangements if you wish.
