Very awesome indeed! Steve Henry has been running this gear on the last couple of his Highlanders with great success. I'm sure it could be mede to work on the Kitfox.

The major down side in my opinion is the $8000.00+ price tag for gear wheels and brakes, then add tires on top of that...

I thought about that. I was thinking of adapting 80cc dirt bike forks as the shocks

Good idea 👍...
Me im looking on fox shock ,nitrogen fill and you can adjust the pressure ..
They have a lot of choice for lenght and weight of load.
With all aluminum tubing 6061 it's can be very light..
I will work on that soon after painting all my Kitfox 👊

Well I don't like it much. The geometry is such that if a load aligns with the rear strut the shock does nothing. And if the rock is bigger it actually pushes the gear back, extending the strut. This system will work for relatively smooth surfaces, not so well for really rough stuff.

The rear brace strut attaches to the bottom of the upper (not moving) part of the front telescoping shock. This is similar in a way to the old oleo strut used on Aeronca aircraft. I imagine it works quite well, and for that kind of money, it better. JImChuk
