Rotax 914 servo cable length

Can someone with a 914 tell me how long the servo motor cable length is supposed to be? Mine is 32” and I think judging from Rotax installation manuals, that’s about 8” short...

Also, for those of you with a 914, my firewall fwf kit supplied a firewall that does not have any holes big enough to pass the TCU wiring harness through. Did you just cut a bigger hole?
