What to use to fil in seams and small gaps in the aluminum around the rear side window and the aluminum pieces on the side of the fuselage the doors close into ? Obviously something that can be sanded smooth.
Thanks

Brian,
What I use for filling gaps on almost anything is epoxy mixed with micro-balloons. I see that you are about a half hour from the Tap Plastics store in Stockton. I use the 4:1 Super Hard Epoxy and the Micro Balloons from Tap. They also sell plungers that fit into both bottles for ease of use. It is easy to mix to whatever thickness you prefer and sands very easily. I use a digital scale to proportion it. Typically I mix less than an ounce at a time in the plastic portion cups like the ones used for Catsup in a restaurant.

I use SuperFil for all my non-structural filler work. Much easier to sand.
