As you can tell from the other threads, a lot of people had a lot of fun with a lot of airplanes over the weekend at the fly-in. The weather held up and everyone had a good time.

It was also a memorable 25th anniversary for the little plane that could. Some of the brainiacs who originated and helped build the plane's impeccable reputation were at the fly-in, including Dan Denney, who got it all started. And BTW, more than once I ran into someone who (like me) still has their now-scratchy copy of the memorable VHS promotional tape that the company produced in 1984, and which fired a lifelong enthusiasm for Kitfoxes.

But today's driving force behind the fly-in, the community we share, and the appetite for keeping the fun in the flying comes from John and Debra McBean who infuse the Kitfox world with an unbridled enthusiasm for the plane, the builders, and the owner-pilots. We are lucky they ended up at the helm. In today's world it is very hard for businesses to thrive and at the same time retain a personal touch for the customer but J&D manage to do it. That stands right up there with the plane itself as one of the very coolest things about the Kitfox World.

Great to see everyone, and a collective thanks for the great party!

All the best,
