Cleaning factory upholstery?

The upholstery is real dirty and stained in my new to me Kitfox model 1. Can I just throw the hole thing in a wash machine? If not how do you clean yours? Mike

I did with mine. Removed the foam from the seat and put in the Washer. Air Dried. Then used fabric paint and dye from Duplicolor and seat looked like new when finished. Seat was very faded from days on the ramp. 13537

Taped the logo off so did not paint that.

The fabric paint is wearing well with 120hrs on them now.
