How much did your Rotax 912 rebuild cost?

Just wondering what kind of numbers a full run-out rebuild of the 912 80 HP, or one of the higher power engines set you back. What were just the part cost, what about labor? How does that compare with the 582, if you by chance had both types rebuilt?

I don't personally know anyone who has ever rebuilt a 912.

Phil Lockwood has said, in his Airventure seminar, that they have torn down several engines from their fleet, which have reached TBO. They were put back together with minimal parts. The cost of rebuild being mostly labor.

Rebuild costs will vary wildly depending on the parts needed and the service provider, for either a 582 or a 912. Putting a dollar figure on a rebuild is impossible.
