Kitfox 3

I found a Kitfox 3 that I am thinking of buying very well built my concern is that it has a GW 2180 VW engine , 200 TT. Would like input on engine reliability , any pro,s and con,s . I have had 5 experimental planes but no VW engines . any advice welcome.
