I have not found what I was looking for, so was hoping someone could help. I thought it would be a good idea if I got some spare wing pins for an avid that I have to trailer to the airport to fly. I have not been able to find the specs of what I need or a part #, type of pin etc. I have not measured but look to be 1/4"-5/16" in diam. but what type of pins are they? I was hoping to use a pin and not a bolt since I have to pull it out everytime I fly.
Thanks Mark

They are 5/16" diameter pins. I would think the -89 length would be fine. The spars are 2 1/2" diameter, and these should reach though these plus a bit more. Here is a link to the pins at aircraft spruce. Jim Chuk

The Avid spar attach bolts are 5/16" dia. as Jim notes. My kits came with:

Clevis Pins: AN395-87
Washers: AN960-516
Safety Pins: AN416-1

Buy extra Safety Pins, they can be impossible to find once you drop one.
